It was a beautiful week in Rangeley, the ground is covered in Snow. Yesterday we went out and picked out our fresh cut Christmas tree at The Farmers Daughter.
Italian night this week was packed and fun. We were closed Thanksgiving day and took a nice walk before going to dinner at our friends Margie and Steve. I of course ate way too much. We opened Friday and Saturday. Saturday was snowing all day and put people in the mood for shopping and coming in for appetizers and wine in the afternoon. The wine tasting friday was a success though I wish more people had come. Everyone had fun though and the Italian wines were fabulous. I ordered italian cheeses from New York City and did a platter of sausages with wine in them and the cheeses. It was really yummy. I made a pecan wine cake and had chocolate for the treat at the end. I am very thankful for a great staff and good friends and lots of laughter and a great family
